The POS solutions specialist ADDIPOS has been working closely for several years with the owner-managed hotel software provider based in Saarland.
The SIHOT Group is strengthening the collaboration between its established hotel management software SIHOT and the provider of integrated POS systems for the hospitality industry:

Early discussions have already highlighted ideas on how we can drive the POS market forward as a team. Our goal is to combine the strengths of both companies. ADDIPOS and SIHOT customers can continue to expect the same high level of service quality and will benefit in the medium term from our combined expertise,” said Jörg P. Berger, Board Member of the SIHOT Group.
Carsten Wernet, also Board Member of the SIHOT Group, added:
“We jointly decided to take this step – in the interest of all parties. The collaboration is further strengthened by the fact that Peter Schmelzer and Kai Grobusch, founders of ADDIPOS GmbH, will remain part of ADDIPOS.”
ADDIPOS GmbH will continue to focus on its core business: integrated POS solutions for the hospitality, hotel and bakery sectors. Founded in 2004, ADDIPOS operates from Berlin (development, support) and Saarbrücken (administration, project management, support, marketing and sales). The company currently employs 15 people.
Real-time insights on point of sale activity will enable hospitality businesses to optimise commercial strategies, increase efficiency and improve planning capabilities.
ADDIPOS GmbH, a subsidiary of GUBSE AG since 2022, will move to the SIHOT headquarters in the Neunkirchen district in November 2023, thereby bringing the strengths of both companies together under one roof.
