Hospitality businesses can now reduce pressure on operations with customer self-service ordering terminal.
ADDIPOS, part of the SIHOT Group, has announced the launch of its new self-ordering terminal, fully integrated with the existing POS systems of SIHOT and ADDIPOS.
Designed to meet the needs of fast-paced hospitality environments, the solution enables efficient, user-friendly ordering and payment processes in restaurants, bakeries and other food and beverage outlets. Inspired by self-ordering systems used in leading quick-service chains, the terminal helps reduce queues, waiting times and pressure on staff.
The self-ordering terminal features an intuitive touchscreen interface that guides guests step by step through the ordering process. Menus can be customised flexibly, allowing businesses to quickly adapt their offering – from lunch menus to additional items such as snacks or bakery products. Guests can also access information on nutritional values and allergens directly during the ordering process.
Fully integrated with ADDIPOS and SIHOT.POS, all orders are transmitted in real time to the POS system and forwarded directly to the kitchen. The system also supports secure and seamless payments via card or mobile, while digital receipts provide an additional level of convenience and help reduce paper usage.
With the introduction of the self-ordering terminal, ADDIPOS and SIHOT provide hospitality businesses with a future-ready solution to optimise operations, increase efficiency and improve the guest experience across a wide range of business types.

The POS solutions specialist ADDIPOS has been working closely for several years with the owner-managed hotel software provider based in Saarland.

Real-time insights on point of sale activity will enable hospitality businesses to optimise commercial strategies, increase efficiency and improve planning capabilities.

ADDIPOS GmbH, a subsidiary of GUBSE AG since 2022, will move to the SIHOT headquarters in the Neunkirchen district in November 2023, thereby bringing the strengths of both companies together under one roof.
